At Autobahn Motors, we're excited to report that the all-new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV will be joining our new Mercedes-Benz lineup by the end of the year, offering Northern California drivers a fresh option in the compact SUV segment -- and marks the first compact Mercedes-Benz SUV that's available as a seven-seater.

This new Mercedes-Benz GLB slots in between two popular models, with a 111.4-inch wheelbase that's longer than that of the Mercedes-Benz GLA and a bit short than the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Interior comfort was a key design factor in the SUV's creation, and the results bear that out as it offers both ample front-row headroom and second-row legroom. Those second-row seats can be reclined in several different positions for riders' comfort, and lowering them completely effectively triples the SUV's available cargo capacity.

It's evident from first glance that the Mercedes-Benz GLB is has a distinct off-road appeal to its design, with an upright front section and short overhangs both front and rear. There's protective cladding all around, emphasizing the vehicle's proportions as well as defining its parameters.

Power is provided by an updated four-cylinder engine that teams with an eight-speed automatic to produce 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while a front comfort suspension, MacPherson suspension struts, and compression springs help smooth the ride even when you're in rough terrain. Available adaptive adjustable damping allows you to adjust the SUV's tuning to suit the conditions and your mood, while available 4MATIC® all-wheel drive send power where it's needed to maintain control.

We're excitedg about this new Mercedes-Benz SUV, and look forward to detailing more information about it in anticipation of its arrival later this year. Check back with us here, or contact us, to find out more and put your name on the list to take one out for a test drive.
