Advanced aerodynamics and all-electric architecture make up the AMG® EQS, which has a one-bow design with cab-forward proportions. Full-width front and rear lightbars evoke elegance, while iconic vertical chrome bars are set within the EQS black panel, adding brilliance to the front end. Signature LED lighting includes LED Daytime Running Lamps. There are four designs for the aerodynamically optimized AMG® wheels - measuring 21 to 22 inches in diameter - that are 10 inches wide to create an aggressive stance. Interior Design
The AMG® Performance steering wheel gives Belmont EV buyers the option of having it trimmed in Nappa leather, microfiber, or microfiber paired with carbon fiber or Nappa. Relax on the way back to Redwood City with 40.4 inches of rear-seat legroom in the AMG® EQS, which has the ability to expand from 22 to 63 cubic feet of cargo space. Additional features include all-LED interior lighting, AMG® interior appointments, a heated steering wheel, and a panorama roof.
Performance
This fully electric AMG® model boasts 277 miles of range, letting San Mateo drivers travel to events in San Francisco, work, Water Dog Lake, and other Bay Area destinations before needing to recharge. A master of acceleration, the AMG® EQS can hit 60 mph on the 101 Freeway in 3.4 seconds when using RACE START®. Thanks to dual AMG® electric motors unleashing 649 horsepower and sending 700 pound-feet of instantaneous torque to all four wheels, the AMG® EQS Sedan is more powerful than rival EVs.
A fully-variable, electro-specific system, AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel drive adapts to the streets of San Francisco and Bay Area roads in fractions of a second. Intelligent Energy Recovery is featured in this performance-driven EV, which is designed with higher-density battery technology at 108 kWh. Compound AMG® brakes with an intelligent booster result in better braking feedback as Redwood City drivers reach a stop in Bay Area traffic along the 101 Freeway. Comfort and Sport+ are among the five modes San Mateo motorists can select through AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT. Intelligent control adjusts rear-axle steering, and with nine degrees of low-speed adjustment, Belmont AMG® EQS owners can tighten turns and ease parking at the Twin Pines Art Center.
Technology
This EQS model comes with AMG® instrumentation. A 12.3-inch OLED passenger touchscreen gives those riding shotgun a personalized display. The MBUX Hyperscreen also combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 17.7-inch OLED touchscreen for the central multimedia display. MB Navigation includes Electric Intelligence, while Voice Control featuring Natural Language Understanding uses artificial intelligence. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto™ integration is standard, along with the Burmester 3D Surround Sound System featuring EV Sound.
Safety
Car-to-X Communication allows all EQS models to send automatic alerts to a central notification system to warn of certain dangers. This helps Belmont AMG® EQS owners take precautions before reaching a potential hazard around the Bay Area. Active Steering Assist, Active Brake Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST®, Active Speed Limit Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Distance Assist are additional AMG® EQS safety features.
